This was the first time we had to deliver at this hospital but the team we had made every thing easy for us.
The drive was a killer but we knew this hospital had the best for what we needed. We loved the doctors, nurses, techs etc all of the people involved with us.
Rooms were big, clean and spacious.
They were very loving and caring with us regardless of how long their shift was. For the most part and for the main day of delivery, Truly enjoyed every interaction at this place. Side note, the parking; there’s one building that is easier to move around lol I can not remember which one it was

Dr. Was great once we finally got back to a room after 9 hours of waiting in waiting area!! The whole situation was very frustrating. Nurses only checked on us like twice. We had to go to desk in er to ask about results after four hours of waiting in our room, husband went to ask and the nurse at the desk was watching a movie on her phone!… the whole process of how they do things there is not working!! They need to reevaluate. We drove two hours to the hospital and was there for 16 hours total and finally left AMA. We couldn’t wait any longer. Maybe they need an emergent side and a more acute side My daughter’s case wasn’t life or death emergent but it still would have been nice to have better care. I don’t plan to go back here!

I really enjoyed this hospital. It was the first time taking my daughter. So I forgot to bring my baby formula. I felt like a horrible mother but, this young man didn’t get his name went out his way to get my baby formula that she takes. I will be forever grateful for him and the staff

All I can say is that this hospital is the absolute best. I have brought all of my children here from genetics to the trauma team and they have literally set the bar so high it is nearly impossible to think otherwise. My son recently had an atv accident and was sent home from utmb (closer to us) was told to rest see ortho in 14 days they called the next day wanting us to return we took him TCH and from the second he got there he had a team of doctors since last week he’s had 3 surgeries and I couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you TCH!!!!

In order to call this children’s healthcare, my child would need to be seen by a physician. That did not happen after 7 1/2 hours of waiting with zero timeframe communicated for when my child would been cared for.

And I did not learn my lesson from the previous visit here, where a laceration near the eye started to close while we waited 5 hours for care. Which made treatment (stitches) more difficult.

I wish I could comment on the quality of the care, but in two visits I have either not seen care provided at all or in a reasonable manner to adequately address the situation.

Cannot recommend.

I remember a few years ago they did not want to treat my son for the reason of not having medical insurance; I consider that even more so due to his status at that time, he should have received medical attention since he had a fever and the emergency receptionists on the second floor made that contempt, they are rude and inhuman, they should hire people with more intellectual capacity and human capacity. Since then it is something that I remember every time that hospital is mentioned and I will always have a bad reference to give because at that moment I was humiliated when I needed it most. A year ago I had my second baby but I chose Lyndon B Johnson and I don't regret it. It was the best experience and in fact I would never set foot again with my daughter at Texas Children ? where they don't work for love of their community but only for money$
