I had a good first time experience at this cool Public Library ? with my family who is a yoga ?‍♀️ instructor. There is an elevator that takes you to the second level where they have tables for activities for children.

They had a cool interactive art light wall along with beautiful community art work and displays. The bathrooms were clean and the play area for children was massive. A great area to have quiet time, read and check out some great books ?.

I had two bad experiences. Some time ago I was harassed by a patron who accused me of being a secret agent spying on him. The issue was resolved but the staff was not very apologetic. The second episode involved a book I had returned which had minimal damage from water I spilled on the page edges. Inside the book was perfect as was the cover. I was charged the full price of the book and had to keep it. There nothing really wrong with the book. My attempts to hear back from the director have proved fruitless

I love going to this library. If you are considered a St. Charles resident then you have a lot to offer here. Besides renting books, they have a section on the first floor by the maker lab there is a section for things that aren’t books like a car jumper, portable charger, etc. This library is also very clean and well kept up. I really enjoy coming here and can’t wait for more stuff to be added down the line!

This is a great library! My two year old daughter loves having her own library card! She likes to check out books. They have so many great board books and books for older children as well. I don’t have too much time to spend in the adult section but they appear to have great books for adults as well. The family story times are super interactive. I wish they had more options for parents who work, but I get it too. They have a nice play section with a kitchen and rotating themed stories. They also have a ride on pretend school bus. My daughter loves this place and I do as well. It’s always been very clean including the bathrooms.

Great library...highly recommend. Always activities going on for adults and kids and lots to see and do. Great customer service...staff are always friendly and always responds to messages.

Very nice, especially after the remodel. Definite improvement. Drop Boxes are completely unusable. I have to get out of the car to drop the books into the chute. I may as well go in. I thought this feature was for people that may not be able to walk into the library. Bring back the other boxes or Fix it.
